ESRE Media is a trading name of Sense Future Ltd. This notice explains how Sense Future Ltd collects and uses personal information, and the rights you have over it.

Who we are

Sense Future Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16548138), with its registered office at 16 Colberg Place, London N16 5RB. We also trade as ESRE Media. In this notice, "Sense Future", "we" and "us" mean Sense Future Ltd. We are the controller of the personal information described here.

If you have any question about this notice or your information, contact us through the contact form or write to the address above.

The information we collect

  • Identity and contact information, such as your name, job title, organisation, email address, phone number and postal address.
  • Professional information, such as your role, background and published work.
  • Communications, such as the messages you send us, and our notes of meetings and calls.
  • Financial and transaction information, such as payment and bank details, and the information we need to complete agreements with you and to meet our legal duties.
  • Technical information, such as your IP address and browser details when you visit our websites.

How we collect it

We collect information when you contact us, use our websites, do business with us, or take part in our work. We may also collect information from public sources, such as websites, professional profiles, public registers and published material, and from people who introduce us to you.

How we use it

We use personal information to run our business: to answer enquiries, to communicate and work with the people and organisations we deal with, to develop new relationships, to enter into and carry out agreements, to keep our records, to keep our websites and systems secure, and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

We do this on the following legal grounds:

  • Contract: where we need the information to enter into or carry out an agreement with you.
  • Legal obligation: where the law requires it, for example for accounting, tax, company records and financial checks.
  • Legitimate interests: where it is needed to run and develop our business, and those interests are not outweighed by your rights.
  • Consent: where we ask for it. You may withdraw it at any time.

We do not make decisions about you by automated means that have legal or similarly significant effects.

Marketing

We send marketing messages only where the law allows. You can ask us to stop at any time, by replying to the message or contacting us, and we will stop.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only where this is needed to run our business, for example with the service providers who support our work and our professional advisers, or where the law requires it.

International transfers

Some of our service providers process information outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure it is protected, for example by relying on UK adequacy regulations or on safeguards approved by the Information Commissioner.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to meet legal, accounting and reporting requirements, and then delete it securely.

How we protect it

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and we limit access to those who need it.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to ask for it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent. Some rights apply only in certain circumstances. To use any of them, contact us. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113.

You can object to analytics cookies at any time with the "Turn analytics off" link at the foot of the site, or block cookies in your browser settings.
