Shared records

Livestock Animal, recorded under Animal

The farm's records of its cows use the dictionary entry Livestock Animal. The vet's records of its patients use the entry Animal. The shared dictionary records that a Livestock Animal is a kind of Animal. Neither entry was changed or replaced. This is native interoperability: the farm shares its cows with the vet's system, and neither system changed its own word.

What you will see

  1. The farm's entry Livestock Animal says that it is a kind of Animal.
  2. The vet's entry Animal opens from the vet's own patient.
  3. The farm's cows are in the vet's list of patients.
